URGENT ALERT!

Marriage Threatened in California!

WARNING! Within the next few days AB 19 is expected to come to a vote by the full Assembly! This bill arrogantly ignores the will of the majority of Californians who want to preserve traditional marriage by legalizing same-sex “marriage.”

Urgent! Please take action now!

IMMEDIATELY e-mail or call your local Assembly member and tell him or her you want them to OPPOSE AB 19. This dangerous bill would legalize same-sex marriage by changing the definition of marriage in California to “A personal relation arising out of a civil contract between 2 persons.”

Remember that in 2000 the citizens of California overwhelmingly voted for Proposition 22 which states, that “only marriage between a man and a woman shall be valid or recognized in California.”

Assemblyman Leno, (D-San Francisco) and many other members of the Assembly are completely ignoring this vote and pushing AB-19 to further their own special interest agenda.
